What gets checked
- PDF: pages and page sizes, TrimBox / BleedBox and bleed, font embedding, effective resolution (PPI) of every placed image, RGB / CMYK / spot colour signals, encryption, PDF version.
- Images: pixel size, the DPI stored in the file (which does not decide sharpness), and effective PPI at the size you want to print.
Choose a print job — General print, Book interior, Flyer or Poster — to see the values each check uses and where they come from. Every printer has its own specification; when in doubt, theirs wins.

FAQ
- Is my file uploaded?
- No. The file is read by your browser on your device. The page is not allowed to send data to other servers.
- Does a clean result mean my printer will accept the file?
- No. It means no problems were found in the checks listed. Some things, such as overprint, ink coverage and safe margins, are not checked yet, and every printer has its own requirements.
- What does 'Not inspected' mean?
- The check could not run — for example because the PDF has no TrimBox and you did not enter a finished size, or because part of the file could not be read. It is never counted as passed.
